The Health Science Group (HSG) is a forward thinking federal and commercial consulting firm with deep knowledge in health and IT services. Our core focus is to help customers make the best decisions possible through research, analytics, change management, and program evaluations. We support government and commercial staff / contractors in support of various commercial management activities, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Timothy Hays, PhD
Dr. Timothy Hays serves as President of HSG. He has over 30 years of experience in Federal Government practices, Contracting and Commercial Management Consulting. His focus has been on diverse analytics (AI), small business insurance, program management, strategy development, federal acquisition methodologies, biomedical research, CIOSP4, and information technology (IT).
He served as a federal employee and contractor at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), worked on contract with the Military Health System (DoD MHS / DHA), and carried out research for Veterans Affairs. He received a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and a BA in Psychology from Purdue University.
